100th Anniversary
About Jamboree Contigents
Hong Kong
The Hong Kong Contingent to the 11th World Jamboree consisted of 7 Scouters and I Scout as shown below:

1. Chamson CHAU: Contingent Leader, District Commissioner of Victoria City District, Hong Kong,
2. William C. L. CHAU: Assistant District Commissioner.
3. Kitty HUANG: Assistant District Commissioner for Cubs and Akela Leader,
4. Joseph Υ. T. SHEK: District Senior Scouts Leader,
5. Norman HUANG: Cubmaster & Asst. Secretary, Victoria City District Local Association,
6. Carole CHAU: District Cub Auxiliary,
7. Yan-Nang YIU: Asst. Rover Scouts Leader,
8. Senior Scout Patrick ACHIAM, Queen’s Scout of the 17th Kowloon, Group (La Salle’s College).

No. 1 to No. 5 are all Wood Badge Holders and they, besides their normal duties in the District, are members of the Training Team in Hong Kong - evermore heavily engaged in organisation work and training of scouters. Senior Scout Patrick is a Queen’s Scout and has always proven himself more than that - he was also the “mascot” of the contingent. May I take this opportunity to wish you all best in your preparation of the Brochure which we all are eagerly looking forward to receiving a copy. I am sure it will serve as a most valuable memento of the 11th World Jamboree that all of us have happily shared.

Cham-Son Chau, Contingent Leader
